I was working during the entirety of the DDOS and couldn't even attempt logging in, am I therefore ineligible for the pet?

Admits they weren't impacted by the DDoS.
Wonders if they get the 'sorry you suffered with us' prize.

It's just a question, I don't understand the need to respond like that or at all.

Man this Ddos is so disheartening and potentially damaging the future of this game by being this vulnerable. I dare not even mention how many people in discord asked for a download link to the Cancerous cowards launcher. I've not been able to play in 2 days. As soon as I get off work and try to start playing - the Ddos has already started. I also have kids so I get like 3 hours to enjoy some WoW but can't even manage that. I really hope the defence comes soon as I'm also trying to hold on as Octowow is the bomb

As many of you are likely aware, we are incurring yet another DDoS attack during peak hours today. We are still working with our provider to get a mitigation/defense solution running but unfortunately are at the mercy of 3rd party timelines, and waiting for equipment to be delivered/provisioned and access given to us.

As a small token of our appreciation to those who decide to stick with us through these attacks, we have a new companion that is being added in our next deployment (approximately 2 hours from now). All new accounts made during this time, and accounts that have attempted to log in from Sunday until these attacks cease will receive access to the exclusive D'Dossy pet.

You will also be able to re-claim the pet with any character on a valid account by talking to Ozzy in each of the starting zones.

Of course we will update the community here with more information about these attacks when they cease for today, and when we get our permanent protections in place.
