Possible AH bots ruining AH.

Greetings. As someone who crafts 20-25x flasks once per week, I've noticed that there's a certain individual who's extremely suspicious and is likely a bot to control the flask market. "Bankaltjoche" is able to undercut me within 5 seconds of me putting up an item 24/7. I can put 5x flasks to AH, and by the time the 5th flask of titans is up using Aux, he has already undercut. I'm 99% sure this person is either a bot or using a bot to constantly scan the AH beyond the limitations of 1.12 client because it's just impossible that within the 5 seconds of an item being put on AH that he is able to undercut it. The process of checking something on AH, then putting your own auction takes longer than 5 seconds because the game doesn't let you receive information that fast, that's my reasoning. Whatever flask I put up, whether supreme or titans, they are instantly undercut by this person within 5 seconds no matter what time of the day it is.

I'm requesting an investigation on this person and I am perfectly fine with the conclusion "Nah, he's not botting and you are just too slow, get better". Being online what seems to be 24/7 and undercutting within 5 seconds tells me that's not how this report will end though.

Well, turns out this person is standing AFK next to SW mailbox with an auctioneer next to him. Despite being AFK and his AFK never disappearing he is able to undercut me instantly.

How is he able to stand AFK without his AFK not clearing and using AH?

Not that hard to generate a script or bot using gen AI today which I'm sure this individual has done. probably used TSM as a framework and built on top of it. Hoping the devs do something.

Put one flask on the AH for 2c, then buy all his flasks for 1c each

I'm a fellow flask flipper. You've probably seen my listings. I have been sus on this guy for a little while as well.
Here are a couple things I've noticed:
They sit unmoving next to the mailbox interacting with their AH bot/mailbox with no other inputs.
When they relist, they will always beat your closeout price by 1copper, but their opening bid price does not match the pattern if you change the increment by more than 1 silver.
They will always cancel their auction instantly when they detect your listing and start the undercut script with 2 listings.
They seem to not be playing even if it was on another monitor. I spent 5-10 minutes teabagging them while we were undercutting eachother and there just is not a player there.
Level one with an auctionbot is very sus. No one sits there and does this manually for 12+ hour shifts.

The question is: Is this player automating, and is this automation allowed?

It definitely ruins the market.

Just became aware of this thread and wanted to chime in.

I am actually not botting. This is my bank alt and he is online when i am playing my main or my twink in a second window.

I wrote an addon which makes it incredibly easy for me (really really easy) to check prices and then undercut. This addon was entirely written with the allowed lua api and i actually even described my addon to the mods and the explicitely allowed it. I have screenshots of my request and their allowance.

So i am not botting and everything is within rules.
