You're not going to accomplish anything in this thread. You're just going to draw the attention of the people who live in there. When I was in there, there was so much sexual stuff coming from pink names and one of them even mentioned being into gore, and like, no. Just go, don't bring attention, don't interact. Bad faith actors crave the attention to turn into a victim complex to leverage power. Starve them of the attention and energy they are seeking from you. This goes for discord, world chat, whatever. Let them burn their goodwill up without sapping you in the process. And for the love of god, don't stoop to their level, it just makes you look worse in the process.

I know man I’m just kinda a loser octo is important to me I like the community of it. Yeah we have our degenerates but they don’t bother me so much. And at the end of the day it’s doesn’t matter. And you have some valid complaints. I do see what you’re saying. It’s just frustrating I’m not even a social person I play 99 percent of the time by myself but it feel like I’m just being trolled by mods. We were already on a 10 minute slow mode. I don't think Kestrel can decide whether or not that discord is "official", considering he muted me once for trashing it here, but yes it seems to just be a very toxic place stemming from the people running it. There were actually good and helpful people in some of the class focused channels though. It's a mixed bag, but in general the devs should just decouple from it.

Theoriginalto is an amazing mod and he even put me in time out before but it was just. There are good people there but some are just on a power trip.

The discord isn’t perfect because there’s 20,000 members and 10 mods to manage them, most of them completely different time zones.

It’s a community discord, people with all kinds of personalities and attitudes come through.

The mods are also volunteers. Unpaid. Doing it in their free time. If you don’t like the way it’s moderated, you are free to curate your own spaces and hang out there instead.
