Bru server is more unplayable than playable lately. Get your shit together or people will leave.

As far as I see it, OctoWoW is free to play. The server is currently under attack, and from what I understand, the issues we've been experiencing lately are not something the OctoWoW team caused. They are trying to deal with the situation and fix things in their free time. And since this isn't a traditional business where we're paying for a service, they could just as well walk away from it if they decided it wasn't worth the effort anymore.

That's why I honestly don't understand why so many people are demanding reimbursements, free donation tokens, or other perks as compensation. I also don't see how threatening to leave, announcing that you're quitting, or whatever else you want to call it, is supposed to help. As I see it, the team isn't obligated to compensate us for something that is outside of their control.

Dude has clearly never sat in a queue of 15,000-20,000 people night after night only to get d/c'd when you're 10 people from the front of the line and having to start all over again at the back on a game that you're paying for.

I remember one time logging on to only ~10,000 people in the queue and I celebrated like I'd won the lottery.

From where I come from I would be classified as a complainer but here all because getting into contact with Kestrel isn't absolute cancer, it put me a lot at ease. Sure I'm pretty pissed not being able to play but I'm sure they are working on it.

I at least hope the play isn't "just wait it out" because this will happen again if defenses aren't put in place that work. Can even if they are put in place. There is many phases to come and hype points that are likely targets.

I know I'm not going to those servers, I'm personally more likely to go offline games at this point. I got rid of WoW and OSRS in the last years. Internet man XD

I pay with my time in ques. Those other games, there was times I did actually give them money so I had more right to complain as well. Not to mention the time investment.

A DDoS attack of this scale is very expensive in itself; maintaining it constantly costs money. Sooner or later, there will be protection, and the goals the attackers set for themselves simply failed. I think even those as stubborn as they are will understand that if two weeks of nonstop DDoS attacks yielded no results for their server, then further attacks will also be fruitless. Essentially, they simply created a negative reputation for themselves, spent a ton of money on organizing the DDoS attack, and ultimately achieved nothing.

I just said that because of comments and I don't think I'd be spam logging in if I were intending on leaving. These are extremes with always the intent of keeping Octo on the radar. I understand he can't just tell us absolutely everything when it comes to what they are doing.

Just the more and more it goes on it def will cause players to leave but atm I have been sticking around, even played more because I was getting into Warrior. I only say those as they are thoughts for sure but I've talked to Kestrel a few times and feel they are trying dw dw.

Like I did say too, phases is the worry. Atm I'm not even trying to raid. Really isn't much out and rather just do alts when I got the time.

I really don't want to argue but all I want to say is lying to yourself is an Achilles heel. Figure it would be best to not drain any if at all players if you could help it. Finding out why you gain population, might give you hints and may not last forever.
