Based on the degeneracy that was rampant and allowed in that discord, I wouldn't be surprised if Discord themselves were the ones that shut it down.

I agree on this. I'd also prefer a more discreet approach. Always loved just coming online in game and some players from the friend list whisper you. No stress, just pure natural gaming flow immersing you into the actual rpg game without external programs and the constant alt-tabbing.
