Highly unlikely, its probably a Ddos situation as i´ve been able to login but got disconnected rather quickly.
I´m sure they´re doing alot behind the scenes we´re unaware of to resolve the situation

Is it still safe to connect ?
I asked AI (i know i know) and it said, among other things:

"A private game server should never autonomously scan third-party servers on the internet or launch brute-force attacks. If this happens, a third party has obtained root access or deployed malicious code on the machine."

Can someone shed some light on this?

dont tell me you play on octo with your normal pc? this is only playable on virtual machine or pc where you dont have any personal info.

Keep fighting the good fight you guys. I only found this after the DDoS started, but this is exactly the product that my friends and I have been hungry for so I brought them with me. We're excited to get to really jump in when you have the current issues fixed and we're able to play longer than 5-20m at a stretch.
