Can't connect to server despite server ONLINE/not ddos

It IS the DDoS, guys. Servers were not taken down but seem to be in an unreachable/unplayable state as is. We gotta wait for them to do the hardware upgrade and necessary adjustments with Flokinet to protect the server, so it will be a little longer until things stabilize, thanks for hanging in there patiently! We will perserve!

Ok, if it seems that some of the regions are just affected through the DDos in longer term, then it answers my question.

Hi there,

For some reason I'm not able to log in to the WoW.

It seems to be the case since yday. It's not simply because of DDos, because there are people online, Server is ON, etc.

What is happening:
- launching game through launcher (everything is up to date andnews etc are loading up)
- Then goes to the login page in WoW
- I enter the login credentials
- the popup shows up, with information "Connecting" for 15-30s and then "Disconnected from server".

Other details:
- I have added OctoWoW folder to antivirus exclusions
- I have redownloaded WoW client
- I restarted my computer
- despite trying multiple refreshes, I still didn't get verification link via email. <- (not sure if it's important or not)

Any ideas?

What should we put in the realmlist these days? I had tried change it to play.octowow.st but that doesn't seem correct?

You can also enter the wrong password, and it'll just stop anyway. The game doesn't even check to see if you entered the right password.

Over 24 hours since posted, no game master or admin has replied to it... And with a lot of DDOS, no replies to any of posts I checked. Do they even answer to any issues players have?
I am having the same issue now, tried a couple of fixes but no success.

Yeah Same here there is just "Logging in to server" and nothing happening since 24h.
I also reinstalled the game and did everything to try and have it connect.

I don't have a VPN

It didn't work even with a VPN
