No worries. Pvp in wow is alot about tech. Especially if your opponents are sweaty. Then you just gotta adapt. Grenades help alot. They give you some time to sheep, blink, whatever. Arcane slaps ALOT in pvp. Try to bait your warrior to kick your frostspells. Then blast him with rupture / arc missiles into fireblast. Later your dps will be so high that you can kill most players with 2 buttons. Dont forget to ALWAYS move when you are using instant casts! End your hardcasts with instantcasts.
Utility and stamina are generally very important in pvp. I wouldnt personally pvp without iceblock.
Btw I want to correct your thinking: Go into the warriors perspective. He wont probably fap if he doesnt need to. So that means you are forcing him to fap. Which is good. So you are doing something right here.
