I'd be hardliner on this front too.

However I wouldn't call it "perma" ban but more like a reasonable one.

Basically I'd do 6 months OR a 1 year, which is long enough for a person to be effectively gone but allows in the future to be back.

I'm thinking that a lot of people here are young and I know I didn't do it in my early teens because I was broke but I was tempted, minds change, and I think they should be given another chance in the future, but the ban has to be serious enough to not be a "timeout" either, hence the 6 months or a 1 year ON FIRST OFFENSE. If its ever again, then yeah perma ban.

HOWEVER I do need to understand:

Is the person recieving the ban allowed to do another account? If so disregard my arguement entirely and just "kill" the offending account, if they repeat then wide-ban them.

To anyone arguing for leniency: why shouldn't RMTers have to start from scratch?

You're allowed to make a new account. Accept that you screwed up, lost your desired account, and move on.

RTM should be a zero tolerance policy. It's actually insane we're even having this discussion in regards to one of the most egregious and harmful practices in any MMO.
