DDoS Update

Not a whole lot more information for everyone.

We are not yet on our new hardware. We have continued our work to try to protect from the DDoS best we can with what we have access to. Expect an update early next week with a specific time.

Thanks for the update. Appreciate the effort being put in to resolve this and along with the frustration of having the resolution be in the hands of a service provider moving at their own pace

Might wanna look into the current surge of people unable to log into the PVE server. somethings gunking up connections to it, few posts on the forum in regards to something basically making a lot of incoming connections eat shit if trying to connect to the PvE server

Last page seems to have a breakdown, if you guys were already aware. It's whatever, if not, here ya go

Using a VPN set to a EU country resolved the issue for me.

problem is it shouldn't need a VPN, or the user to fix it on their end in all honesty. In fact the hoops are going to kill a lot of the forward momentum Octo has built up

I cannot login to Octo and I do not use VPN.
After follow https://octowow.st/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2364&start=10 and hard code 185.165.170.59 normal.octowow.st i was able to login.
So I believe is more than a DNS or routing issue instead of DDOS for me. If I ping normal.octowow.st will get IP 92.114.107.52.
Or the there is a frontend server at Netherland that is doing some IP geo filtering for DDOS protection and my ISP is being blacklisted.

Thank you for the update, mate. I'm beyond excited for this DDOS garbage to be behind us, thank you for everything you and the rest of the Octo team do.
