Game wont allow me to play the normal realm

Hey!

Suddenly the game has decided not to work fully.
I can start the game and I can log into characters on the pvp server and on the HC server but as soon as I try to log in to the normal realm it wont let me...
I have tried running launcher and I have redownloaded the launcher several times.
I have tried running a newly downloaded zip file
I have also tried running a newly downloaded torrent.
I have tried to fiddle with windows defender and so on.

After 2,5 hours of going back and forth with no change I am making this thread in hopes of getting some answer to why it may be that I can login within no time on the other two realms but I can not play on the normal realm.

So, after 2 days of the exact symptoms you described I got a vpn, although I'm not sure that's what helped me, and verified my files (I use Octo Updater not the standard launcher) and it update my game and I got in first try. Maybe give that a shot. hope it helps. Just try updating your game.

I am having the same issue, can't get on to normal realm but can the others, VPN doesn't seem to matter. I got through for about 30seconds yesterday while trying all day.

For people on Linux who don’t know what do do specificity. Open command prompt and enter
sudo -i nano /etc/hosts
Then add the ip to the list and save (use ctrl+x and follow the do u wanna save words)

I should have mentioned that I am on windows so the poroblem still persists. Have tried more this morning but to no avail.
