I never bother to post on forums, but just wanted to encourage you all to keep up the fight, you are doing a good job - especially with all the attacks coming from all directions. I think there are many more like me that rarely post anything that appreciate all your hard work and status updates. I just wanted to say I have been able to reconnect to the server by following the steps to flush my DNS on my local server. I also deleted my WDB folder. Then connecting to a VPN. Most stable connection in days. All ill say since I want others to play, but not bad actors to ruin it. See ya all in game soon

something fucking is going on with the routing for the connection to N'Zoth. the only current fix is asinine and isn't 100% guaranteed to work. needs to be fixed on the provider's end, otherwise Octo's pop is going to bleed hard. People don't like doing leg work now a days to get games working, doubly so when its not really their fault.

My experiences today and yesterday are actually the best I've had since this has started so far, not sure what changed but things are very stable, albeit with a slightly higher ping. Keep up the good work though, we're rooting for you all.

Same, I even managed to get my verification email. Things are changing for the better

i totally agree!! i think the majority of octo players dont use the forums much or at all (me included!) we support the octo wow team and appreciate the effort you guys are going through to provide a fun server for us!! please don't listen to the negativity!!

Thank God because I've been unable to play for the past three weeks almost and now I CAN play but I can't get past the fucking login screen despite doing EVERYTHING the Discord suggested I try.

Fix. Your. Shit. Or there won't even BE an OctoWoW in seven weeks to die.

For those who cant connect to normal server:

1)Open Notepad as admin (right click it and run as admin)

2) Open file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (check *.* to see all files)

3) At the end of a file add:

92.114.107.47 hc.octowow.st
185.165.170.59 normal.octowow.st
92.114.107.48 pvp.octowow.st

4) Save a file
5) Open cmd as admin
6) Type ipconfig /flushdns
7) Restart Launcher

Thanks for this it worked on my PC! if anyone knows the equivalent linux workaround, i would love to play on my steam deck
