They are only going to have more reason to be extra aggressive about controlling the classic+ market now that they have a product to compete.
Pretty crazy how people who play on servers that are crossfaction friendshipcraft and make massive profits from mobile vendors/ah/bank/moonwell/forge, 36 slot bags, monetized reduced hearthstone cd, cosmetics, etc. from their store, yet they will instantly complain about it being too "retail", lol

Even if I have the time to play 24 hours a day, I would much rather stick here and stare at the log in screen then go back to that garbage excuse of a "server".

And maybe because blizzard will never get the sole reason why people play these kinds of servers. To get away from most of the trash.

I like to play the game when I want, not treat it as a job and play as if I have to. Hope this helps.

Others would play this because they actually want to feel like humans, that have devs that love the game they work on and like them instead of ones that despise you.

Content is good don't get me wrong, but I have to believe most of it is the way they treat the servers and people on them. Rather then the content itself. blizzard though, only thinks MORE is better.

I don't care how many times they try to reiterate Classic.

I'm not going back to official Blizz servers nor am I wasting a monthly bunch of money on them.

I actually watched it and I'll give them 1 W out of the whole thing. Toggle for the graphics.

Otherwise, they are happy I got logged outa YT and too lazy to sign in.

I see pre order too? Dafuk?

I am playing on pvp server and it's working fine since yesterday at the very least. I do occasionally get DC but it's playable.

Turtle WoW has more content. Besides, another game, same Blizzard's problems. GDKP, unpunished bots, AI GMs, community elitism, disneyfication. Oh, and cash shop too, new smurf race very much fitting WC3 and WoW lore behind pay wall. Note that they will update it "forever" so expect some more P2W items in the cash shop to satisfy share holders in long-term. Plus monthly subscription.
The devil is in the detail.

“Trust me bro blizzard will really punish boys this time for sure” they had generational levels of interest with classic wow and all they had to do was open servers. They still failed to address any issues. Anyone trusting blizzard has worse judgement than a heroin addict

I've been there, done that with Nostalrius, then classic, then SOD, then back to pservers and other games. They're already paywalling the new race, so that tells you what direction they intend to go with Forever.

Y'all mad because your already barely-on-life-support server is going to be a ghost town in seven weeks.

If the Octo devs were smart they'd combine with Raven because the population on both servers are about to plummet instead of perpetuating a silly tribal war between the two.
