it's actually in your best interests that these matters get sorted out.

I havent been on a pserver at launch and watch 2 gms get removed within 3 months for stupid, childish shit.

Igzee you only think its a waste of staff resources because youre in the FUCKING GUILD.

If anything the fair argument would be the staff wasted their own fucking resources by not vetting those two GMs properly, and or established more clear strict foundational rules for their staff and that's the only reason why we're HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

The best interest of the server is you getting some support.

We all know that all those 'issues' mainly originate from a really small numbers of elements.
Few of them were in Levia and get kicked because they were becoming problematic, few more are people that wanted to join Levia but could not prove to not be mentally unstable. The rest is just you, tilting at windmills.

On the first few 4/5 weeks, the server was literally unplayable for almost every classes.
Most of the skills were not working, bugged quest, bugged weapon, invisible bosses...
Server would crash all day with huge rollback.

While the population were barely hitting 150 users, Pig was here to help and trying to find solution for everyone; and this is the missing context regarding your only piece of evidence against Pig and Levia. Camaraderie.
Well, Kestrel too was spying on us while we - the first wave of players - were clearing each dungeons to check that everything worked 'fine enough'

Of course fraternity built on an unstable low pop server do not have the same appearance when it hit 3k players, and the it could be easily be seen as lack of professionalism; but Pig was an excellent person that joined the server during the early days. He/she was great at his/her duty; available and competent.
I do not want to lower the dedication and the quality of work of the dev team, but I estimate that Pig is one of the reason OctoWoW is still here.
Every one that started playing on the first week-end of May loved Pig and will always do.

The community lost Pig,
Kestrel lost Pig,
We are slowly moving on, healing ourselves.

Now, from my point of view, you can spam f**k Levia as much as you want because we do not care, it is just a shame to openly display such aggressive manners to new players.
<Levia> is here to stay; <BRUTAL> will implode at Phase 2.

Also, people should use Celsum which provide free summoning services across 10 destinations.
Cel is not related to Levia; Cel is a great human from Nordanaar.
Just use /who Cel to check Cel's availability and tip Cel generously <3

There are risks to onboarding anyone into a GM position. There is no way to vet people for this type of behavior ahead of time (even in a less restrictive working environment where anonymity is not necessary). I can garunte you this type of thing happened and continues to happen on other servers, but we want to be better.

I feel that for the most part everyone has said their peace and at least understand where each other are at. For now I will not lock this thread but if it continues to devolve it may be locked in the near future so please keep things civil.

Regarding "mafia", hoarding, and whatever else Levia does
1. Seems easy to me. Make a guild and do similar things as what Levia does.
2. Devs can change the game and add things that were done in SOD to enhance the experience -
a. Make a raid portal for the world bosses
b. Make lvl 60 dungeons, including BRD, HFQ drop tokens. Those tokens can be used to buy rare patterns. This was done for SOD and worked great. Existing geared players were able to get whatever they needed for raid consumes from these tokens. It allowed the purchase of rare flasks, potions, gear recipes, etc, for 60 - 120 tokens and each boss dropped one token each.
c. Realize that people make mistakes. Kestrel and co didn't have to take on this project. Could they be getting kickbacks from the donations (maybe) - but it isn't worth the amount of time they spend in this game. Turtle was yanked from many of us, now we have a near 1:1 Turtle experience. I don't think the GM's have some dark consipiracy to help one group.. it doesn't make sense financially if you want more people to donate.

Anyhow, <3 - thanks for the game. And please make Meeting stones summonable so I don't waste 30 minutes of my life waiting for people to quest and finally get to an instance,,,,, I can quest anywhere and go into a batle ground, PVE should be similar with making the stones work.


Aside from the most controversial Summoning stones, before people say no changes, remember that people who participated in Beta had extra time to get resources others did not. Making a token system helps level that playing field.

Why is it every time people talk about Levia, Levia members have to come in and compulsively check every thread mentioning them, only so they can screech to the universe how little they care and how 'above it all' they all are?

It's not a 'really small number' of elements. People hate your guild because your officers and GM have admitted on the record that they don't care about worsening other people's play experience for their own benefit. Several of your members, even your officers, have been caught abusing shit like recipes that weren't supposed to be in the game, (cough cough, hyjal) or taking advantage of bugged rare respawn timers (cough cough, moonwhisper coast) or outright ignoring each other and colluding in battlegrounds (cough cough, literally every AV with Levia members in them, pay attention next time you see these players meet on the battlefield), etc.

Just admit you're hardcore capital G gamers and that you're willing to do whatever it takes to 'be the best', but this pity-party crying in forum threads about how you can't understand why people dislike you, is just so fucking pathetic it is unreal. Lmao.
