make y'sharrj 2x xp

While I would prefer to play on a 1x PvP server, currently it is healthier for the game to be 2x. I know people who are itching to join yet they are put off by the current leveling grind. Myself I want to enjoy low level BGs wPvP and dungeons: however, right now there is at best a handful of opposition per zone and getting BGs and dungeons to pop is a struggle. I for one hate questing yet that/mob grinding seems to be the only feasible method of gaining reliable XP right now.

I've just checked and there are only 45 players from 30 to 50 lvls on alliance online. I assume that the situation is similar on horde side. How increasing PVP xp is going to help if there are no players to kill?
Server population increase to healthy 1k+ online must go first, and only then some balancing around 'less xp from solo leveling and more from PVP' can happen

And how should they do this? Kidnap people and force them to play?
Give them some ideas to actually get more pop, because: "GET MORE POP" is not something you can work with.

I've told this multiple times - increase the speed of solo leveling. I've suggested x2 xp, but now I actually think that if they want a drastic increase, they need like x5 xp, but for a limited time. Say, x5 xp for 3 months on the PVP server. So the current players level their alts (including players from the PVE server who would like to have an alt on the PVP server, why not?), new players also come and get to 60 fast, and the server overall starts to feel alive.

Bump for 2x xp rate on Y'shaarj. I know so many people who would come to play Octowow if the xp rate for pvp server would be aligned with twow on Telabim, which was 2x and felt just right

1x rate might make sense if the server didn't have population issues and wasn't bleeding players each week as evidence by the dwindling dungeon advertisements and increasingly long BG queues in every bracket.

also pve players have ZERO reason to even make a comment regarding the pvp server. fuck off.
