Couldn’t log back in after patch last night was stuck on connecting, same today. Haven’t been able to update as for some reason I can’t access the site on any device until today. Uninstalled launcher and downloaded new one, launched and let update to1.3.8. Keep getting the following message when I try to launch

Dkvk self test failed(exception caught). The game will now crash.

This is likely caused by missing Vulcan 1.3 support. The dxvk log file “vanillafixes_d3d9.log” may have more information.

If you have an older gpu(r9 200/300, gtx 700), remove “d3d9.DLL” to use vanillafixes without dxvk. Otherwise, try updating your drivers to the latest version.

Drivers are updated, realmlist info is correct, tried running without d3d9 did nothing, tried running with wow.exe nothing. Please I need help not vary good with this kind of stuff and have no idea what to do

Yeah you had to redownload the launcher like we said in the base of this post for that first issue.

That second issue is that you need to disable the DXVK mod in the launcher because your hardware does not support it.

Confirmed using launcher v1.3.8, uninstalled all older versions, but I am still unable to reach the update server.
"Error: Failed to reach update server
Please try again later"
Only download endpoint for game files is the Iceland location and this is showing offline. Curious if this is still under DDoS.

You may need a VPN as it looks like your ISP or something is blocking our download IP. We do have some requests to be removed from certain "Spam" lists right now so hopefully that will resolve when they get to reviewing our requests.

right click octolaucher in c drive program files and properties security, and allow all. only way i got it to work.

Can you fix whatever is broken for people who cant use the launcher and have to connect via wow.exe, please. We're getting stuck on "connecting".
