You need to find a new host. The lack of communication and urgency from them is very unprofessional.
If the Octo devs want to remain anonymous, their options are likely quite limited.

Like clockwork servers are down again, it seems like our host have no clue how to end this....sadly.

2 weeks of daily ddossing and not a single working fix is implemented! It is truly very annoying at this point

Yep definitely, either they diverge all the traffic into a proxy (but the proxy provider need to be efficient in redirecting and diluting the traffic) or they hide some trickery client side but it could be a long and exhausting battle that is only relying on the determination of the attacker...

I know nothing about DDoS but i know that when a attack is still causing damage after so many years existing it's probably because there is no really counter to it.

Kestrel, thank you for keeping us updated, and thank you to you and the Octo Team for doing what you can to alleviate the issue. I imagine this is as stressful if not more for y'all as it is for us.

our friendly neighbours from Raven, that definetely love us and are totally not behind the DDos, wrote this in their discord

Oh wow yeah I didn't even think about that. It makes sense that it would only do it during peak EU hours and instead of crashing clients with invalid memory accesses, this client modification would just create lag on the server. Yeah. What's next, are they going to claim that many of the bugs in Turtle WoW existed on purpose because changing them causes disconnects? Who knows, fixing that levitate bug in battlegrounds instead disconnects everyone every 20 minutes for exactly 8 hours.

I feel like them coming up with pure bullshit reasons is even more evidence...

Lack of communication or urgency? Have you not see the DDOS posts every day on here? Or the fact that hes letting us know whats happening even now? They are also actively upgrading and getting new services for DDOS prevention as well which theyve said multiple times.

As of right now: It is all talk and no fix. It is not working. I much rather have a fix then daily messages of "We are helpless"

You dont think Kestrel wants this fixed?
Your literally acting: "just fix it" ... saying that devs dont want this fixed. Its not a damn switch you flip to "fix" it
Of course they would like to have a fix to, but apparently everything they are trying, isn't working
