Game wont allow me to play the normal realm

By putting an edit into System32/drivers/etc/hosts I was able to login in briefly today... now I am locked out again and nothing works, VPN, editing hosts back and forth, flushing DNS, restarting router...

Really seems that the DDOS protection is much worse than the DDOS attacks, could we please get a response on these issues?

I tried the changing of the host file thing and that worked for a couple hours and now im permanently stuck not being able to play...
