Joined 4 days ago, 4 total posts, and all of them are telling people to go play Ravencraft? The paid promo is way too obvious here. If you're going to shill another server, at least try to make it look natural. Safe travels!

For those who cant connect to normal server:

1)Open Notepad as admin (right click it and run as admin)

2) Open file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (check *.* to see all files)

3) At the end of a file add:

92.114.107.47 hc.octowow.st
185.165.170.59 normal.octowow.st
92.114.107.48 pvp.octowow.st

4) Save a file
5) Open cmd as admin
6) Type ipconfig /flushdns
7) Restart Launcher

I think it's good that there are spies among us. That way they can see how much money they're wasting trying to change people's minds...

I understand the difficulties that go with trying to be anon, but come on. This is getting ridiculous.

For the last 3-4 days I am totally unable to connect to the server the normal way.
Yes, I've tried all the solutions suggested. No, not one of them works, apart from being behind a VPN, ideally situated in NL.
Also not all providers seem to work- the one I am regularly using and paying for does not. WARP does not. Socks5 proxies do not work. Proton works on some servers. What am I supposed to do, get another vpn subscription?
This situation is much worse than before, because now not everyone is able to play, whereas before the DDOS affected people equally.
I don't know man, this whole episode is making me re-evaluate my experience with Octo, which has otherwise been pretty stellar up to this point.

after not being able to log in for a while, just tried this and it worked. Thanks very much!
