Someone on the Octowow team, for the love of all things jeebus, post proper comms!

Example as such..

- Downtime window up front: if not exact time-frame - tentative times with server timezone estimation from the previous down times due to the DDoS, stated as "server is expected to be down from X to Y PST based on historical nature of these attacks Note: These are hard to predict but based on previous length of DDoS attacks this is what we've come to expect".. something like this

- Changes grouped by impact: Hardcore Character → Raid Resets → Realm Updates → known issues. We care most about knowing that our time spent in Octo is worth it. Time is our most precious resource, please don't disrespect that by not stating what is planned to fix, changes that may be made, or anything the team in this regard wants to release

- Plain language, and then technical detail: ONE sentence of "what this means for you" before any cute emojis or vague but very apparent issues that we KNOW are happening

- Known issues / rollback caveats stated honestly, not omitted.

- Feedback channel funnel: where to report bugs/issues/gripes/requests/to-give-thanks.. Stuff like this! It helps your consituents feel heard, but more importantly, it give US, the player, agency to ensure our time spent on Octo is worth it by enabling us to try and fix the issues caused DDoS or otherwise

I could be wrong but it looks to me that the servers on which OctoWoW is being hosted (FlokiNet) is infected with a virus which is scanning other services/websites for vulnerabilities to exploit. Holy crap xD

The latest report (as of writing this reply) was made 2min ago and it reads

185.165.170.59 was recorded 15 times by 1 hosts attempting to connect to 1 unique ports. Incident counter (4h, 24h, all-time): 15, 24, 34
