The discord isn’t perfect because there’s 20,000 members and 10 mods to manage them, most of them completely different time zones.

It’s a community discord, people with all kinds of personalities and attitudes come through.

The mods are also volunteers. Unpaid. Doing it in their free time. If you don’t like the way it’s moderated, you are free to curate your own spaces and hang out there instead.

It's very noble of you, but a few posts above, one of your discord mods is bragging about "banning" me when I left on my own accord back in August due to one of your helpers sending me disgusting pictures.

He was definitely one back when I actually used it, but that was a month ago. He's just schizoposting now. Either way, no idea why he is claiming I was banned, I got uncomfortable and clicked leave server and don't recall causing any trouble there.

Attitudes and posting style of users like him really bring down the server and that and the DDOS+lag+instability are why I've stopped playing. Just because someone is an asskisser, doesn't make them a good community member.

Yes but it is discord so the absolute bottom of the barrel is to be expected. Would be a good idea to remove it from the website as a featured thing considering how bad it is though

No one said remove it from existence, it just doesn’t belong on an advertised page that makes it look official. You say volunteers like putting slow mode and having the least professional application of rules possible is some back breaking labor when it’s just unemployed people clinging to any vague authority they can get

Assuming anything that anime pfp schizo said is true... by his own admission, a person in the discord raised up an issue with the discord owner (whose status was hidden, and was just another ordinary person to their knowledge) that involved some form of sexual harassment (which they apparently made up because ????????) and said discord owner's response was to immediately ban the person rather then hear them out?

Yeah, just because that person runs the discord, doesn't mean they are infallible or would do no wrongdoing.

I'm not going to press the issue any further, since Kestrel asked me not to, but you now have multiple different parties in here accusing staff inside the discord of wrongdoing. Maybe that's worth looking into.

Less than 1% of the discord members complaining btw (197 of you would have to complain to be 1%) and most if not all are banned users. Definitely worth looking into.

It certainly gives them a reason to lie
