If Octo has 50k fans, I am one of them.
If Octo has 5k fans, I am one of them.
If Octo has 1k fans, I am one of them.
If Octo has 1 fans, I am that fan.
If Octo has 0 fans, I am dead.
I'll just play something else when the server is down. The server is great except for the current DDoS problems which is not the fault of anyone in it. There's obviously a financial incentive behind the DDoS, don't want to say anything too accusatory to any third party yet but let's just say I don't intend to play anywhere else.

There was a lot of talk over the weekend about how networking gear/settings were going to change on Monday (yesterday). You're server host stopped talking to you or something? Aren't you concerned there aren't any updates from them?

I suppose so. It's been like this since yesterday. 20-40 min of smooth playtime then the server dies, repeat.

Means the same thing nowadays as it meant 50years ago.
Thanks for explanation. So it is referring to their expectation and not their actual status. OK, it is strange as both words looks like in "past tense" so one would say they already have that status...
It sounds very strange to me(as someone who is not native English speaker). Something like calling guys with normal wealth "rich" just because they expect to have a lot of money :-]

This is not information they should share with us.
There's many things at play here and it's not our business to get between them and the host.
They did say there was no update as of yesterday. You have to understand, their host is most likely also waiting on updates from other parties involved in deliveries and setup.
They have been really open with us so far. But asking them to share any information about their relation with third parties is a reach.

They said that they hope to have access to new servers Monday (yesterday).

"Entitled" is both relevant and an insult depending on the context. If you paid for something, you are entitled to it, but if you feel entitled to something without a sunk cost, you're just an asshole, basically.
