Okay, it seems like the solution was found. I just saw it in the world chat and it works for me like a charm without vpn. You should add the following strings into your hosts file. On Windows it's located here: c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts , I'm sure Linux users know what to do.
Code: Select all
92.114.107.47 hc.octowow.st
185.165.170.59 normal.octowow.st
92.114.107.48 pvp.octowow.st
edit: well, at least it works for normal and hardcore realms lol

Finally get onto one of the servers, HC one, so might as well make a guy to at least play something. Says I'm not connected to the internet. Alright lol

IT worked!
127.0.0.1 localhost
185.165.170.59 normal.octowow.st
add this to c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file with notepad runned as administrator
then go to CMD and write ipconfig /flushdns

Not computer savvy enough to try this. HC server did end up letting me on so I can feed my addiction but PVE is locked away

+1 to the proton vpn solution. I've connected to the Netherlands on the free version and can now log in on the pve server.

I had no trouble playing all night from midnight est us time till about 630-7am. No lag no DC nothing even was in a group for a small time. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Hopefully the ddos losers gave up and went back to waxing their carrots and wishing they had girlfriends.
