i made a claim about mentioning Octo
if u wanna know about Raven, u can check it by yourself, it's not that hard
Dont bother arguing with him, there is a good chance he is just part of the attacks but the psychological ones. He has posted nothing except talking trash on octo in these announcement forums. People also make characters just to complain about the server being dead in world chat. IMO its all a psyop.

His arguments are specifically made to bait you into arguing over nothing. If he was sincere he wouldn't be a hypocrit saying you are "putting your self behind words" as if there was literally anything else you could do in a discussion on a forum. Wasting all of our times/energy.

This is a pathetic attempt to make Octov look bad, in an attempt to lure the community over to their server. But alas, even two weeks of constant DDoS attacks yielded no results.

No thanks, we're not interested in projects where the administration hasn't come up with anything better than DDoSing another project and slinging mud at them to boost their own online presence and lure players there.

With such a "poor business model," not only won't those who play here go there, but even Asenshin players looking for a place to play after their realm closes are unlikely to join a server with such a reputation. Many have already chosen Octov.

Imagine how much cash from Raven donations are wasted on this DDOS operation.
The devil is in the detail.

Yes yes, Blizzard decided to attack only Octowow after years and years of not doing it to other private servers. This is quite plausible if I may say so myself.

Is someone forgetting about a recent lawsuit?

In the US the act of DDOSing is considered a federal crime, punishable by jail time. Blizzard isn't going to bother with potentially having to ACTUALLY go to court. Instead they'd rev up their lawyers and put pressure on Octo. Its an easier route to go the legal way if you've got more money than your target. People bring up the lawsuits but forget not only about the guts of it, but the actual settlement and what it entailed.

If Blizzard would just DDOS shit into oblivion (which is again illegal), why didn't they do that to Nostalrius (who shut themselves down for a chance at jobs in Blizz) or even Turtle (who shut themselves down to go out beloved by the community)
