Laughable accusation from a first time poster named 'anonymous'.
The fact that sock puppets (fresh accounts) are attacking me for making good points makes me reasonably suspicious that there is RMT at the bottom of this.
Maybe Kestrel will take this seriously, I hope.
No. You have not addressed my points. You're just trying to disingenuously gatekeep the conversation.
When confronted with automating, Bogenjochen said 'thats X feature of my addon'. So either that feature was automating, or there is additional automation happening besides the addon. So which is it?
I just said what I was told. I think the interesting thing is that GMs and Kestrel do know how much money each of us has and how much each of us is on the auction house.
I dont know how willing they are to lay that open, but they for sure know if Bogenjochen, Mithipia, Icankite or Sephiroth has huge amounts of gold. Maybe lets ask them and see who are the real whales? Because If i am sure about one thing, I think rather the person that has 100k+ gold is responsible for all the price hikes of flasks and herbs and not someone having a few hundred or even 2-3k gold.
Should we start a petition to lay our banks open?
Whoever you truly are i think its pretty obvious you're trying to hide or protect what truly is going on, Sephiroth layed out some facts on the table and none of you fakies can come up with a reasonable counter other than try to frame someone else when we all know what yall are doing is pushing your luck with some 3rd party auction house automation.
Now i have no idea how that went to pass through the GMs but everyone noticed the jump in flasks and other potions over the weekend. Its pretty blatant whats happening is the market is manipulated by a certain group of people.
True thats shit, i dont like it ether... But I think its rather Sephiroth thats part of that rich peoples game and everyone should happily ablige to just lay stuff open through GMs when nothing to hide. Also called out Bogenjochen etc... i mean him too

At best we're looking at people using addons to get an unfair advantage over other players on AH and attempting to ruin server economy by doubling or tripling flask prices. At worst we're about to unearth some big RMT ring. Both of these possibilities deserve a lot of attention. The latter can be confirmed by developers looking into it and disproving or proving it. The former requires some in-depth rule setting, because this is not healthy at all for the server economy.

Octosephiroth what about you?
I also have nothing to hide. I am closer to the 2-3k number than 100k, but I think 100k is unrealistic at this point for any legit player, hyperbolically so. Who care's what I'm 'worth' though? I'm not the 'evil market manipulator'. If you look at the screenshot earlier in the thread it looks like it was Mithibank. I already said this but I don't think market manipulation is a GM issue, but if it was, they could see exactly who bought it all up and relisted at 60g
I should remind you that this thread is actually "auction house automation discussion" and there seems to be a consistent effort from those who were using the automation to derail the discussion entirely.
Definitely feels like a reckless ben video. Brick by Brick, gents.

Exactly, I don't think any option helps the community at all. And we should be actively expressing this opinion and make sure any behavior damaging the market is ruled out in the ruleset.

BTW I just want to clarify one thing. I don't believe Fabinaku deserves the hate. He is always acting politely, he is transparent and it seems he wants to follow rules. The issue is with rules, not with player following them on what some of us believe to be unfair.

Definitely agree that this thread should be closed only after setting concrete AH rules by Octo team, having a poll about it maybe, just like the RMT poll, which most of us think is useless because 99% are against RMT. Same goes to setting concrete transparent rules for boosting or what is/is not considered boosting. So we need to keep this threads going till then.
