Unreal engine client

Hey, i stumbled over a new server , since i read on the azeroth wow discord that they are looking for more partners to host on.
Will octo consider using the unreal engine?. i will make a character to test it out for sure, but i will stay with Octo atleast.

No. The Unreal client was never finished, and Octowow doesn't have it.

Hopefully not, classic has such a timeless and iconic art style. Unreal engine is just the same trash over produced slop and exaggerated lighting

The wow client is beeing remade into unreal engine , this is something turtle wow was going to do aswell . This will make it possible to easily to even play on a mobile , have ingame voice chat and play in VR .

Why would you need in game voice chat when superior voice exists, why on earth would I want to struggle to play wow on mobile, and who in their right mind wants wow Vr? That all sounds terrible if those are the selling points

I have now tried to play and stream on my old laptop with an i7-4th gen with an 860M gpu , i streamed for 11 hours. It is so much better than the old out dated 1.12 client . I hope the devs can atleast try it out themselves .

I'm trying to install it now, I'll see if it's a scam or whatever. It'd be amazing if octo could work with the new UE client.

whoever was developing the unreal client proved that they are completely out of touch and have a very suspicious attitude if they think that would be a good addition.
advertising in game voice at goldshire inn. like omg, what P club are they trying to make.
and signs are appearing that this is a deeply rooted problem on octo.
playernames and even a guild going down that line.
why do you think they want VR..
there are also modifications to alter how the game characters appear. not everyone see your character like you do. beware.
