Future patch ideas by turtle dev and personal view

Hello fellow turtle refugees/octos,
since octo devs stated they will follow turtle's philosophy of developing future patches and we don't have a proper place to discuss lore, I'm trying to sort turtle devs' ideas and what is done by patch for lore lovers and future devs to follow! I'll add my personal review of these addition and would like people to theorycraft too. :)
Also octo as a successor of turtle, I think we should have some folks specifically working on it, hope that is what we will get after 1.18.1 is restored! I will also (slowly) add lore-related screenshots about how original devs talked about after sorting them out.

Roadmap
Image
-------------TBA------------
1.18.2 Vision from Mazthoril
? Some Winterspring and Blue Dragonflight patch
------------------------------

1.18.3 Echoes of Quel'Thalas

New Zones: (Quel'Danas not included!)
Eversong Wastes
Zul'Aman
New Raid: Ruins of Silvermoon
New Class/Race combos:
Alliance High Elves: Warlock
Horde Darkspear Trolls: Druid

Personal thoughts: What Dragunovi said about Helf warlock was pretty persuasive, seeing one's homeland end up in ruins mentally turn people into looking vengeance, even with forbidden powers. However what I am concerned about is how to fit the lore in character creation.
Now we only have blue-eyed option for faces, but with progression in lore thalassian elves reunited cuz Kaelthas returned as elves' leader, blood elves should be playable too so we will need green-eyed options.

But in case of Warlocks, elves messing with fel will be tainted and turn eyes into green. So definitely warlock should have green eyes no matter their affiliations.
The problem is does 1.12 client have this technique to change character face while picking specific class? 3.3.5 does this when choosing DK and I am curious how 1.12 can done this because I can't tolerate blue-eyed elves casting shadow bolt lol.
-------TBA-------
1.18.4 Anchor's Vengeance
1.19.0 Hammers and Talons

Were these additional classes confirmed somewhere? I don't recall helf warlocs and troll druids to be announced anywhere on Turtle. Correct me if I'm wrong.

As someone who played troll druid on retail my biggest issue was how they were portrayed. After brief intro they were lumped together with Cenarion Circle and it was pretty much it. That was super lame, they didn't have any extra lore on their own, no personal objectives, just extra class/race combo with very vague characterisation. And the druid forms left a lot to be desired - their catform has night elf eyebrows and mismatching colors. There was not even once a pure tiger option, and to me the hair color should be representing the fur of the tiger. But I digress.

In the hindsight, despite being big troll fan, I realised that troll druids were a mistake. And the reason why I am against adding classes for the sake of it.

And I was really impressed what Turtle WoW did with Tauren priests. I felt that they gave a huge attention to them, portrayed them in reasonable way, gave them complexity that separates them from other priests. And I really liked Moonwhisper plot. It really blew away retail portrayal, which was so minimal and obscure that it was hard to notice.

So I am not entirely against troll druids, but they have to have clearly established identity separate from Cenarion to whom Trolls have no relations at all. Trolls are related to Loa, and that identity should be protected at all cost. Or return to very early concept of troll primalists - so something like shapeshifters who carry inside spirit animal or something like that.

They were confirmed in the comment in old turle discord theorycrfat channel, sadly I did not screenshot them before they were all wiped, but one expecting TWow's lore I remembered them clearly, High elves warlock are confirmed in a comment asking 'do we have any class race combo other than troll druids?' so it could be a sign that troll druids were in development. Also horde will need another combo when alliance get one. Here are some screenshot collecting dev's plans:

And in turtle lore Horde already includes forest troll, they also introduce warlock class to the Darkspear trolls, and we have an art about how Amanis (which are also main characters in Quel'Thalas apparently) fighting the scourge, in TBC we can see them draining powers from their loas to cope with the situation (which taken its toll in TBC and midnight), so will they do the same in turtle lore or else can also be developed in the patch, if we really need to add this combo there definitetly has space to tell stories between Amanis and their loas. I could imagine that with the help of horde a gruop of loa believers tried to reconnect themselves with loas and gain access to the druid class, or scourge invasion encourage them to take on the form of their loas which can also lead them to the way of druid.

This is a great find! Thanks for sharing this. And yes I recall that the new quests for the Horde were done really well,
how troll warlocks were handled and other troll related plots. So I'd have much bigger hope in turtle team to handle the class lore. And I like the idea that the forest restoration could be tied to Loa's aid after the scourge turned it into wasteland, and previously elves turned it into artificially locked into one season magical forest. The question is would troll teleport to different sanctuary than Moonglade. And I am of opinion that they should. Warlocks aren't as demanding when it comes to customization as druids - because other than portal, druids get specific forms. And I didn't like those which appeared in Cataclysm.

Were there ever any plans for new continents/landmass? Full story expansion style additions?

@Choromatsusan If you look at the shared leaks, Kul Tiras was clearly planned.
Did someone say cake?
