In 2026-07-21 patch the drop rate of Sulfuron Ingot was lowered from 80% to around 30%.
When i looked earlier today, n the last 5 MC raids the Ingot dropped only once. In last 9 raids it was 3 ingots.

Why? Turtle devs didnt make a mistake when they choose a 80% drop rate for it. It is needed for True Band of Sulfuras, and 9 are needed for HOR.

With a low ~ 30% drop rate no new guilds on the server can make HOR in a reasonable time when the weapon is still worth making, ie phase 1 -2. At this lowered drop rate a guild running one raid a week can expect to loot just 1.5 Ingot a month.

I strongly request u restore the 80% drop rate on the Ingot.

I don't understand this nerf either. By the time you will have enough, AQ40 will nearly be out - if you are not unlucky. That seems entirely out of line for how expensive and underpowered this legendary is.

I agree it should be more available in the period it's relevant, maybe post in suggestions to for developers to see.

It was split, every server type has its own now.

Those sub-forums seem not to be read by anyone, if u wanna u can make a new post there if u think they will see it there.

Fully agreed that the droprate needs a re-evaluation, at current state it barely supports band of sulfuras drops. I believe it was made as a kneejerk reaction.

Why would they do this?
