OctoWoW launcher world

I am using the "Turtle WoW" (Wugui-fu) version 18.1 client. After updating via the Octowow launcher, I found that I cannot access the World channel. However, if I download the WoW client directly from the Octowow website and copy my addons into it, various error messages appear. Is this an issue with the underlying client code, or is it a user error? — A Chinese WoW player.
The main issue is not an addon itself. The World channel stops working after updating the client through the OctoWoW launcher. I would like to confirm whether this is a client/server compatibility issue.
