It has come to our attention that several developers who created or forked open source addons for OctoWoW on GitHub have been served (absurd and unenforceable) C&D letters. It is our firm recommendation that any and all parties comply with these letters.
This is yet another reminder that GitHub is not, and never will be, a safe place to develop software in this space. We strongly encourage any and all developers who would like to contribute to our open source ecosystem to exclusively use their own private Gitea instances, or our own self hosted octowow.st/git instance.

It is no coincidence that this is happening at the same time as the DDoS attack. It's likely the same people behind it. That's an even bigger reason to stay strong and stick to Churchill's famous phrase during the London Blitz

Are those real CnD from Blizzard's lawyers?
Why would Blizzard go after GitHub contributors, instead of.. idk Ravencraft, who is both on Discord and also using cloudflare?

well I'm trying to get it on octo git but nobody as help me with my problem ... made this post 4 days ago

Which repos? Would be a shame if everyone were to mass-fork and locally clone them.

Seeing as Microsoft owns both Github and Blizzard, it is a possibility.
