Why is launcher 1.2 getting flagged when the previous ones were fine? I want to play the game, but I might have to do it without the launcher, seeing the risk.

Anyone else experiencing this, with their new launcher?

same here, had my whole launcher suddenly deleted by my anti-virus software

I am playing for more than a month here without the launcher and not a single issue on my pc happened.
DDL injection for PS are like this for a long time but windows is dumb as fuck as always was.
If they really wanna do data breach/ mine crypto they already have done it, don't see the point on wait (:
Is probably more safer then run a a research on google or using win 11 who is a huge spyware xD
If people don't trust Octo just play on a Virtual Box as is become really easy to setup one.
But if they gonna find a way to clean up the false flag for windumb gonna be really good, as not all are computer geek nowadays

at least 3k players (PvE + HC + PvP) haven't reported anything suspicious yet

I didn't have any issues with the Launcher until the 2nd update to the launcher.
