I want to share my thoughts on the current poll about achievements and the poll-system in general.

1.) The Achievement system

a) overhauled Goldshire.


The Butchering of Goldshire is one of the few things from Epoch that can stay forgoten.
Cool idea, but we don't need to re-imagine an area of Vanilla that was already good as it is.
More adding new content, less "cataclysming" content that is already there.

I too have a life, job, etc, nonetheless i'm highly against it.

Summoning Stones lead to lesser communication, even elitism by throwing out people who you simply dislike, cuz summoning someone new there would be easy with summoning stones.

I agree to some extend.
Some content from epoch was cool. Some was never finished, but with the future of Epoch being uncertain, it's questionable if we'd ever see that anyway.

2 things that instantly come to my mind that I'd like to see on Octo would be

This wont happen. Players already and always lean To Take the path of last resistance.
If you enable summoning Stones and someone says: "nah. I dont Like em, i rather fly."
What do you think will happen? Of Course ...

Uniquenes of classes doesnt only come from what classes can, but also from what they cannot do. Just Like Pallys Lack of ranged abilities/gap closer.

My only compromise would be Putting a res in the middle of the resto tree as an unlockable ability.

It's funny that people say no to Summon Stones, while the LFG tool is making a comeback.
The only thing that happens without Stones is that you have to walk yourself.

If you want people to talk more... get rid of the LFG tool.
We all just love it when the world chat is 90% full of "LFG" and "LFM ...
