1 - A good number of addons can be found on the launcher already. Click Addons at the top before launching the game. This is an easy way for new players to get the addons for the right game version.

I think it depends on how fast they get validated on the BTC blockchain by multiple sources (technically out of OctoWow's control). But for me it was less than 30 minutes.

The client here and the one used for classic are very different versions. I'd wager ultrawide wasn't even a thing when 1.12 client was first released. On the launcher is the mod "no1600x1200" that you can try. Never used it myself, but it sounds like it may help you.

This happens to me when I click when on the loading screen. The game just closes. No errors or anything and can just sign back in. Didn't realize it was causing server-side issues.
