Petition for the Creation of an Russian Proxy Server for OCTOWOW

We, the Russian-speaking players and dedicated fans of the OCTOWOW server, are writing to you with a respectful request regarding the development of the server's infrastructure. We are enthusiastic supporters of your project and appreciate your efforts in creating a high-quality Vanilla+ experience.

Given the significant number of Russian-speaking players on the server, we would like to formally request the creation of an official Russian proxy server, similar to the solution implemented by WoW "Vanilla Plus".

Large Russian-Speaking Community: There is a substantial and active Russian-speaking community on OCTOWOW. Creating an official proxy would improve the gameplay experience for this large group by providing more stable connection quality and lower latency .

We are not asking for a full game client translation into Russian, but simply for a network proxy that would allow players to connect to the server with better routing and lower ping. This is a proven practice that has successfully improved the experience for players in various regions on other servers.

We love OCTOWOW for its unique content, active development, and friendly community. We believe this addition would be a win-win for both the administration and the players, strengthening the server's reputation and attracting even more players.

We are fully aware of the current challenges you are facing with DDoS attacks and the ongoing efforts to stabilize the server. We understand that your priority right now is ensuring the security and stability of the project, and we fully support you in that. Our request is not urgent - we simply ask that you consider the creation of a Russian proxy in the future, once the situation has been resolved and the server is operating under normal conditions. We are patient and willing to wait, as we truly believe in the future of OCTOWOW.

1. Why would you need a proxy if the server is accessible from Russia (when the server is actually online)?
2. If you're not familiar with how networking works, I'd suggest looking into the basics before making such comments."

To clarify the Turtle WoW situation — their traffic from Russia was routed via Ukraine and automatically blocked by the backbone provider for obvious reasons. This server doesn't have that issue.

whatever the country to go and host the server just please do it fast this is insane i cant enjoy my favourite game after a long days work without getting DDoS
