I check the website: it says servers online. I start the game and try to log in, it wont let me. Just turning the server off permanently until everything is resolved and letting the players know when they are actually able to play would be the better move at this point as the current situation is just frustrating and wasting everyones time

Riiiight... So, because you're frustrated and don't have a single thing to do other than reload the login page, you want them to turn the server off where they can't monitor traffic or run any tests while the server is under load, edit, tweak, adjust some dials after new hardware gets installed to actually help fix the issue at all?

Before you spawn more copies of this banal protoplasm of a unicellular argument on every post you see on this forum - let me inform you that a "better WoW" can be found by the Gacha MMO section, or perhaps even right out of the dragons mouth with WoW Forever. Please, do peruse at your leisure; don't whine too much on your way out, we don't need more nonsense, in the forums or online, polluting the servers while the rest of us are waiting patiently for the team to fix this tedious problem that, I am sure, we are all facing equally. (Some a bit more equally than others, it would seem.)
