Unable to connect after launcher update

Greetings, so here is my problem, i was able to connect normally to the server before big launcher update (1.3.0 i guess), after that i updated the launcher and i was unable to connect, only can connect using VPN, even after server migration (it says "Connecting"-->"Disconnected"). I tried every solution this forum can provide and aside from the VPN, nothing worked and i have a friend in the same region who has no problem to connect to the server normally, so the only thing that comes to mind is that I'm probably blocked from the server by IP somehow or maybe It's something else that I'm probably ignoring. If anyone has had a similar problem, I would appreciate any information that could help me resolve it.
