We need AI Tanks

As i am waiting in the queue for the 3rd hour i am wondering, what am i doing with my life? Is this it? Waiting in queues forever? It is currently 2026, the FUTURE. Why do i have to wait 2-3-4 hours, tabbed out of the game, reading, playing other games till i hear that sound: BAM A TANK WAS FOUND ! FINALLY !!!

We gather and venture into the dungeon only to wipe on the first group. The tank is just a DD tired of sitting in the queue. He slapped on a shield and acted like he was a real tank. A PRETENDER ! Now that would fly in Classic but oh no we are playing classic PLUS here !!! Plus meaning more difficult. Group disbands, another 3 hours playing Slay the Spire. Slay the Spire 1 is really better than the second game.

Either implement AI Tanks or nerf the crap out of the content back to classic levels so plate wearers can tank by default. All the new content is pointless because nobody does it.

I am pointing out flaws to the people developing this game. I don't really care about your opinion, especially when you don't have anything constructive to say.

Everything i pointed out impede my and others' enjoyment of the game and i have yet to see one constructive counter argument. All you folks have is insults.

I understand your frustration, I’ve made a chararacter that can only dps, and finding groups is tougher than it was on turtle. I would say just give it some time. More people reaching 60 would alleviate some of the pressure.

Imo it’s just a design flaw that some high lvl content is so punishing to do without a dedicated healer and tank. But I guess I that would be too radical of a change to revamp that. If you wanted to minimise your wait time, you should’ve chosen a class that can heal or tank. Otherwise you have to deal with the existing design and being in the majority of players all of whom are waiting for knights in shining armor to pick them up by the scruff and carry through the dungeon.

Octo, following the path of Turtle, embraces the "spirit" of the vanilla experience
There are not even insta teleports outside dungeons, but you expect them to implement AI tanks?

On the other hand, all content is extremely easy for any experienced player, allowing even weird builds to be able to tank. But you keep asking to nerf content. Clearly skill issue

Everything above shows your inexperience as a player and certainly completely unable to provide any valid suggestion

Don't be too harsh on them Darktifa. Maybe they are just new. It's still valid to share what's frustrating for them, even if the suggestions don't make a lot of sense (to you).

The flaw you mention is not a flaw at all, when the game we play is for nostalgia. Any drastic change hurts the experience. Hell, I don't even like the automatic group search for that exact reason - it didn't exist when I was playing the game. And it takes away the (in my eyes) best part: Having to reach out to people yourself to go on an adventure together. But I am not forced to use it, so I don't mind the feature. Good old talking to people is the way to go, imo. Which would also be my advise to you - use '/who 60' or even any smarter query and just whisper potential tanks. You would be surprised how fast you can build up a valid group like that. Many players don't ever q up in the find group feature but would still be available for any shenanigans.

The solution seems to be obvious: roll a tank character and you'll never have to wait for a group.

And then what? You reach max level want to raid and get benched because there is no need for tanks in raids. So you go and farm a dps set and roll against all the other dps. If raids required the same proportional amount of tanks as dungeons it would be a different story.

Sat in queue again for 2 hours. Nothing. Nobody wants to tank/heal because the dungeon experience isn't chill like in classic. Mobs hit too hard and people wipe on the first group and then disband never to try another dungeon again.
