Launcher error

Tried to update it, ran update, running in admin mode, says "error: eperm: operation not permitted, mkdir 'D:\". I hit retry same thing over and over. What should I do?

i opened the settings on the launcher and made sure the location was

D:\.octolauncher-tmp

worked after that
