You get what you give. When you start off by lying and trying to steer people away from the server with misinformation and a rude attitude you shouldnt be shocked when people respond in kind. Theres no lack of self awareness in his comment. You behaved poorly and he called a spade a spade. The difference between those two things is that he didnt start it. You did.Zuldrak wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 12:52 pmBerdal wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 12:08 pmForgot to take your medication?Zuldrak wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 12:03 pm Also what makes you defend shitty practices of developers - how hard of a fanyboy/shill/simp can you be? I see shit behaviour/practices = I call them out. That simple.
Obviously the devs are highly capable, but to make an omelette you gotta (or oughta) break a few eggs... Give them the benefit of the doubt and some time to iron out the details. Be respectful really isn't that difficult.
You wannabe good-guy... Insulting and disrespectful in the first sentence in your reply and a sentence later: "Be respectful really isn't that difficult."
Zero self awareness lmao
You´re a caricature of yourself XD
Your characters are not stored on your machine but on our servers there is no risk of them getting deleted ever.Zeid wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 8:34 pm Updated the launcher to 1.3.7. Hit update game, get "Error: EPERM: operation not permited, mkdir 'file location'

How do I make sure my characters are not deleted if I do a full re-isntall?
Try adding your octowow directory to the allowed/ignore list in Windows.
Yep, can confirm that version 1.3.7 works fineKestrel wrote: Fri Aug 14, 2026 8:00 pm After the latest launcher version 1.3.7 deployment, things should self heal for any clients that got put in a wonky state from previous deployments (client.torrent corruption from a previous torrent update issue).
If you are still having issues and confirmed that you are using launcher version 1.3.7 please post as many technical details here. If you are having trouble pulling the 1.3.7 version of the launcher please close your launcher and re-open it so that it re-checks for a newer version.
If you are using any custom patches, or have any specific non-english language settings, that information is very important when we are debugging these issues. Thank you for all of your patience <3
