Connect Alah'Thalas to Ironforge

It's strange that the only flight point connected to Alah'Thalas is Light's Hope Chapel; it means that not only do characters have to take the long double-boat path until they're quite high level, but also the flight to and from is a tremendous zig-zag. Allowing the capitals to connect directly makes sense thematically and also makes it much less of a pain.

Writing this as I fly from Stormwind to Alah'Thalas, I do agree there should be another option as the ship is a bit zig zaggy, and to unlock flying there requires over level 50 to even reach EPL.

As for travel I guess Ironforge would be the best option as Stormwind is already a big hub, they have their small camp so perhaps if you're friendly with them they can port you with a Rune of Teleportation.

Also I think we need more quests later on (20-50) with High Elf reputation as it's a real pain to get them to honored if you didn't start leveling there and the race has enough lore for quests to be put in various parts of the world.

For example what is the point of Little Silvermoon in Stormwind? I went there once when i was level 10 and never again.

That was in fact my suggestion, yes. Just to connect those two flight masters -- Ironforge and Alah'Thalas.

I'm very hesitant to suggestions regarding teleportation. Takes away from the immersion of the exploration of Azeroth.

True a direct flight is simpler and easier to implement.

There's the lodge at the loch right? Could do something with that. Dwarves and High Elves have hinterlands too so getting connected seems to make sense in lore

One of the interesting things ABOUT Alah'thalas is how isolated it is.

It is a tiny enclave of what remains of Elfdom surrounded by either desolation or ocean on all sides. There is something quite unique and interesting about having a starting zone bordered onto an endgame zone and the only way out being to flee out to the sea.

It's not a place that is required to travel to a lot so I don't think it's travel path needs to be particularly accessible. It's just a cool feature that the last holdout of the once grand elves is so backed into a corner and isolated.
