So here is my crazy idea: turn off almost all chat in the game and keep only /say and /yell.
It's a client-option already.
Think twice about how it would be different making it server-wide/global. Would the players who were in #world now reply more often to your say's and yell's - or would they be just in the next-best #world discord or whatever and reply to your say's and yell's just as much as they would when you didn't globally disable the server channels.
