While I do see your point, the OP mentions Tel'abim as an example but not OctWoW's PvP server with any word. Therefore I initially assumed the post refers to any server.

Which can be understood. However, you would agree that for PvP to be healthy the participants need to be on an even playing field especially out in the world since BG's already take care of that?

No. The game is a journey. Want to level fast, play retail. You can even buy yourself to not need to play the game at all there.

If you don't think levelling is playing the game then why not cut to the heart of the issue and ask for level boosts? It's essentially the same thing. "I am impatient so I want special treatment that trivialises a cornerstone of the gameplay and diminishes the experience for other people because they are being pressured to fast-track it."

Should we also have easier raids for people who don't feel like paying too much attention?
Or PvP boosts for people who don't know how to itemise?

All the real content (both PVE and PVP) is at lvl 60. It's just a fact, you cannot deny it.
This leveling stuff is for those ppl who enjoy it, and I'm not asking to take it away from them. They got all the stuff they need to play the game slow with additional reward for doing it even slower.
BUT devs should finally understand that this leveling content is not the main part of the game for the most players.
Leveling is not even on pair with lvl 60 content. It's not hard, it's actually very easy, cause literally everyone can and will do it to lvl 60 on PVE and PVP servers.
The only 'difficulty' of leveling is heavy time investment. The same thing that made the old honor system bad, by the way.
Shorten it twice by making x2 xp rate the way Turtle did it for their PVP server, and it will be almost fine.

That is why we need a prestige system, the idea of prestige experience is a good one, but not sufficient! I want ACTUAL progress. Let me reset the my character in exchange for prestige tokens that i can trade in for idk one piece of armor thats on par with final tier raid gear...a raider can get the ultimate gear in one go by repeatedly raiding, while prestige characters can get that same gear by Prestiging multiple times over and over earning one piece of that set with each successful prestige! This incentivizes BOTH raiding and leveling, a win-win for everyone involved!

Just no, dont hand out free rng pve gear. Might aswell give you option to just buy t3.5 for gold
