I would prefer a different system.

A sort of 3rd faction that is really just a bunch of mercenary races that are typically 'enemies'.

Satyr, Harpies, Furbolgs, Ogres, Murlocs, Naga, etc

They would not be a unified faction themselves but would just start out as either Neutral or Unfriendly with both the Alliance and Horde and would have access to quests from both factions.

Or something like that.

both factions already have 2 additional traditional medieval fantasy races each to choose from. we dont need any more, and we need proper racials, like dwarves need axe specialization, not gun specialization. and dwarves need a racial stamina bonus. and tauren need a racial stamina and strength bonus. or not. i know thats hard to comprehend

Ogres and something for the Alliance (not furbolg tho as previously stated) isn't mutually exclusive with better racials for existing races. We can have both of the things and it's just a matter of a healthy integration.
