OK first of all absolutely no one in here is actually asking for all content to be released tomorrow. Don't make up arguments please. Stick to what people are actually saying. Otherwise you're just being dishonest.

That said, even if they did open all at once-- did you never play on Turtle? That's how it was on Turtle for years. Everything was open. When I started on Nord there were guilds that had Naxx on farm for literal years.

You're looking at this with a retail mindset. This isn't Blizzard. It isn't retail. There's really not much else to say, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what this server is, and what Turtle was.

I phrased it like I did intentionally to make a point. The faster they release, the sooner we are out of content. And yes, I played Turtle, no I did not play on Nord. And if I was on Nord, and it was K40 for years without new content, I would quit. And you dont have to be a jerk with the way to talk with other people Defiant, but I suppose thats just who you are.

I suppose you could call it "being out of content" but having more options for raids is a lot better than not having many options for raids to do (especially when these are raids many have already done before. I am under the impression that the point of this server is that it aims to restore content and get us back to where we were on TWOW due to the server shutting down).

This is especially critical early on when only a few raids are out, and imo the time from BWL to AQ as the main raid for 5-6 or so months is the biggest offender (ES is more of a side raid). Also keep in mind it seems March 18 is when the war effort is released, not the raid itself.

If you cut down that wait a couple months and adjust the rest of the roadmap, it would hopefully fix that issue a good bit. Then the jump from AQ to Naxx/Naxx to Kara40 is like 3 months or so, which is a bit better.

The issue we're having is that we both view the game from a different perspective. I sincerely disagree with your statement. I'm not going to just grind up to K40 then quit the server. That's not why I'm here. That's not what I did on Twow. For me this is a long term community, I want to eventually have multiple characters progressed that far, and that'll take quite some time. I am absolutely not going to be out of "content" for ages even with the 1.18.1 content. I'd like to believe that they'll be able to eventually create some additional content down the line, but I don't expect that to be for awhile.

I get it, but a lot of us are from Nord and there were guilds on that server server active for years before K40 was even around, right? Not everyone views the game and how it's "content" works the way you do. And that said, I mean, no one is forcing you to speed run it all either right?

I am just tired of the style of argument, man. You could have made your point without completely reframing our argument.
