There's literally an option to opt-out. It's always the same kind of weird people with crab in the bucket mentality, wanting slow exp, slow raid phases etc. Even though most of you have 0 interest in doing any content at max level

First and most importantly thank you so much for your hard work all these months. I can't even imagine what must go into keeping something like this operational and functional, and I am so, so so so thankful to have a home after what happened to turtle and how special it was. You guys are genuinely doing noble work preserving this and keeping it going. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not giving up and for giving this to us.

I do have to say that a boosted XP event concerns me a bit. Turtle was called Turtle for a reason, and while I understand this is technically octo, one of the pillars of Turtle was preserving the leveling journey and honoring that. Yes, I know we can "just turn it off" but it sets a precedent of an attitude and mood going forward. You can also "just turn off world buffs" in regular wow, but because they are there, people are going to use it. Same principle. It affects the mood of the server as a whole. There are plenty of pservers out there that offer boosted XP and a rush to end game, and modern wow is like this too. I would hate to see this server go down that road and I do hope these kind of events are not a part of the future.

Thank you again so much for your hard work and perseverance and I am so happy to be here and be able to play. You've not only weathered such an intense storm, but have added some great things such as the extra leveling challenges, as well as the decision to slow the initial roadmap you posted. The more open communication than what turtle typically offered has been a huge plus too. Thank you.
