1x is just fine, I am playing even with "slow and steady" and it feels too fast with than many new content, things running by.
Raidloggers will always advocate for faster leveling on every server. Even on server with new leveling content...
Leave us the opportunity to explore new things!

Increased XP rates imho would make sense for alts but not for the first char. If you have atleast one 60 lvl character you could choose a trait that gives 2x, 3x or whatever xp rates bc there are people who like having alts with different profesions but it takes way too long to do that on 1x
