I have two dedicated leveling buddy characters that I wish to grandfather into this. I hope they hear the overwhelming community plead for this. WoW is, after all, a social game; and OctoWoW is still in its diapers

adding another vote to let people add the together forever challenge retroactively for a short period of 1-2 weeks
it's like almost demoralizing to see it be added just a few weeks after i started playing with someone here and i'm sure many feel the same
^If this is what it takes. I second this motion.

Well let’s keep this rolling and hopefully players like me and my friend that have slow and steady, Samurai, exhaustion, craftsman, vagrant, and war mode will get help. We have so much time invested already almost 1300 quests complete and now this challenge came out.. I can’t even play on my own because my weapons are crafted level 18 white swords and I have become a buff/debuff bot.

@Kestrel I am sorry the challenge that I suggested is.letting this jini out of the bottle
If nothing else it shows how popular the Together Forever Challenge is and how passionate people are about it!

I only play with my partner and we already discussed if we would restart at lvl 1 if we can not take on this new challenge with our current characters. We want the teleport ring bad so we probably would do it, but it's a tough decision to make since we already hit lvl 45 now. An option to jump on it now would be wonderful, as we 100 % would have taken the challenge if it existed during our character creation.

Why making "True Hardcore"? I mean, i am new player on hc, but if i get to 60lvl and start raiding, i want to have maximum possible chances to stay alive and if i die, i can continue playing on softcore realm with this character. So maybe just deleting this trinket if character die and still be able to transfer?

Actually amazing changes, also making Immortal Death Chargers available on HC is a nice addition.
Seems like Immortal Title is also back on the menu if you go to the normie server on 60, so yeah. Amazing patch, thanks guys!

What's the point of making the Immortal Charger locked to the HC realm only? It's a cool reward; we should be able to earn it then transfer it to the normal realm if we so choose. Just restore the rewards to how they used to work, that being you receive the mount, title and tabard all upon hitting 60 on Hardcore. Then you can decide to take them to the normal realm if you want.
I did HC on the old realms for the mount. It's a cool treat for all that extra work. Truth be told the HC realm isn't that populated so the mount being exclusive to that realm defeats the purpose of a cool flashy reward. Just my 2 cents as a player looking to try this realm out but extremely disappointed at this change.

It is something we considered, but a few different reasons for our decision.
The mount/tabard were unobtainable in turtle wow 1.18.1, so really having them available anywhere is better than not, and yet we knew it would bring criticism from those who can't get it. That being said we feel it will give hardcore players the option to display that they have dedicated themselves to the server and community and will not be taking their progress to the PvE realm if they die, but re-rolling and going again to help continue the long process of hardcore progression.

So should me and my spouse stop leveling and wait for the possibility of the together challenge becoming available to level 25s?

My friend and I already quit. We had 6 challenges active and played together the whole time because our gear is terrible and can’t kill things with out each other so we have been doing the “together forever challenge” for weeks on end and now they came out with this and offer no way to give this to people already doing this.
