Super huge love to the OctoWow dev team. I just joined but already feel the twow vibes,

Question: I assume the new Pvp server will have different raid launch dates? It wouldn't be that the server goes live June 30th and then BWL releases August 1st right?

A slower, phased progression for the new server (19, 29 etc) would probably better fit the current audience (most of us here are probably in our 30s / 40s with jobs and families, if I had to take a guess) and make this server more palatable, as it grows, to future users.

With the current schedule, you'll see a few dedicated people rushing through content and be already well geared in a couple of months. I think that's not very appealing for potential new users who now have a feeling of having to "catch up".

Agreed, updated <3

Most of the thought/work for the roadmap was admittedly put into the restoration section of it, the rest was a bit tacked on when we realized we would get tons of questions about phasing still. Dates are still subject to change and should not be treated as "locked in". Especially the phases.

Thank you so much for being willing to change it for us! <3

Could I ask you to consider pushing Naxx back even further, when you actually finalize dates? For the moment, you tentatively have the AQ war effort starting January 1 (so we may take up to a month to actually get in to AQ20 and AQ40). Naxx starting on March 1 may only give us one month (or less, if we're very slow) of actual AQ raiding before the phase changes.

Naxx not opening until 4 or more months after AQ war effort begins would be more realistic. You know, when the time comes to actually decide the phase changes for real! :)

I may be overly paranoid, but i recommend never try to publish any handwriting of you or one of the teammembers.
Handwriting can be used to doxx :o

100% support a slower progression / release schedule. That's the spirit of Turtle / Octo / classic. Fast progression just feeds sweaty tryhards that, in my opinion, are not the kind of people that are fun to play classic with. Slow it down, let us enjoy the journey / the world PvP / the alts, etc.

1 month of ZG will be a bit too much, the gear is so good that BWL will be too easy and steamrolled.
Unless the changes to bwl REALLY make it harder but i doubt

rppvp realm would be great, otherwise i would never touch the server. the pvp community never wants to touch the pve realms even if there is a warmode on there
