The only people who have brought this argument forward is your crowd — you ; Defiant ; Joyson etc.
They might be farmers with all of the strawmen they're constantly building about what pvp realm players are not actually saying. Always more interested in derailing threads made by people trying to improve the pvp realm experience than actually contributing anything meaningful.

The stories of World of Warcaft are explicitly detailed in Warcaft 1-2-3 and several books (6) which predate WoW by quite a bit.

There's no "story to be told" other than the Onyxia questline. MC was rushed because Blizzard didn't imagine for a second that so many hardcore EQ/T4C/DAOC players would reach 60 and be content starved after defeating the only available raid boss.

All of the pulls, challenging yourself, stalking other players, ganking etc that you mention can be done level 60 —more enjoyably— due to a more even playing field. The game was not imagined to be played at lower levels due to class discrepancy.
This is all simply not true, and/or not a question of fact. I disagree with all of it. Not that stories were told in warcraft 1-2-3 and in books, but that no other stories are being told in WoW.

Are you saying that your issue is, that you only can see the game through the lens of what a level 60 player would want? I don't see how player level has any meaningful relevance to the topic.

The Onyxia questline which starts with the Defias, the Stonemason guild and goes through the missing diplomat and various other dungeons and raids is the only truly developed story in the game and is Alliance exclusive. Tirion Fording's story is the second and only other long questline that details events untold.

WoW Vanilla was rushed and was originally imagined for players who had existing knowledge of the games, which is why other expansions insisted heavily on the world building and storytelling and still do to this date in retail with extra cinematics and scenes piled on.

Other quests are no different from errands with very few or no backdrops. We've all been there and have done them enough — your entire argument also once again never offers a valid reason as to why other plays wanting faster experience should be invalidated by your need to read a book others have already written the graded summary on.

Being level 60 has relevance as most of your awful and asinine pseudo-arguments were pushback about us wanting to skip things. We're level 60 and have been through the content — multiple times.

How you want to play the game shouldn't invalidate what others are asking for. If you want to take the game slow and enjoy the scenery, you can opt-in with multiple challenges like slow and steady, exhaustion etc.

We want to play with our friends and guild members while having attractive individual pull for the server population.
Why would your individual wants ever trump something beneficial to the community and the server's health as a whole?

Those are great questlines, I think. But most zones have questlines that add to the story of that zone, and why the state of affair is what it is. The fact you don't appreciate is quite meaningless. I haven't played Horde in a meaningful way before, which I am now, and I'm learning a lot about the zones and quests. Whether this is intentional or not from the Blizzard devs who created is, is also quite meaningless. I do think it is intentional.

I don't think what you are asking for is beneficial to the community nor the servers health as a whole. I think it is beneficial for you and the 10-20 others that think like you or care enough to voice their opinion.

And please raise yourself above your constant "I took an entry level rhetoric course" comments about the validity of others argument, when your own argument display nothing that raise them above the rest. All you do is claiming you know what is best for "the people/the server". And that is pretty much all one can do to defend their own interest in a question that is entirely subjective. You seem to consistently fail to realize this for your own position.

No im saying that the people argueing for 2x is not because they lvl faster(they already done) they want it for more players because we know other pvpers mindset. Unlike you talking smack while not 60 on pvp realm.

Im 60 btw, did less then 50 quests, didnt check story/new zones because it slow to lvl that way wich is counterproductive to getting to wpvp/bgs, also unlike you ive lvld multiple chars on both ally and horde for the past 20years. Its just a long tutorial for alot of players. Also i have no interest in lvling a alt even if its 10x exp so pls tell me how im doing this for my own interest outside getting a healthy pvp server? O and sidenot theres only like 3 people vocal about not wanting 2x on pvp server and most are pvers or people that got multibanned on discord on twow

Give me 2x please. Countless 60's over the years and 4x just on Twow. Most of us play for endgame content.. I just want to raid with my bears again :( As an adult with a job and family it will take AGES to reach 60.

Bump.

We want healthy pop and the only way to make the server attractive is x2 as Tel'Abim did.

Watch population soar when you implement it !

Please free our brethren trapped on the PvE server... we couldn't care less if they're geared.

Also please free those who after being repeatedly told they couldn't transfer from HC to PvP — took the oath and now regret it ; that's a clear miscommunication issue.
