Do people who choose PvP servers do so to play with two hour long queues and a dead open world? No.
So, you, a player from a PvE server, know better what the queues are like on a PvP server, right? I’m from a PvP server and I’ve never waited longer than 30–40 minutes for a BG.
And what were they two months ago? Likely less than 30-40 minutes, right? Because the population has been dwindling. I'm just being realistic mate. If things didn't change, and you kept bleeding players, you absolutely would start seeing much longer queues within a pretty short period of time. Once things get bad, they get worse a lot faster as more people jump ship.
Your takes are as painful to read as Knifewrench's. You dont play on PvP server so you wouldnt know. But the 60s had Bgs everyday and I was in the process of making twink guilds on Horde and Ally so we could do lvl 19 bgs. If guilds on horde and ally can organize raids, they can organize AV's. The majority of people on the PvP server do not like cross faction, but not enough to throw a hissy like Knifewrench (his name is Goober on Ally).
This change is more of a panic reaction and it takes away a lot of agency from YS players. Which is not good.
Also between the mana cost reduction, dmg dampening and now cross faction cross realm bgs and the boosted xp, one cannot help but start to see some similarities to where retail was as it started to go down hill in the name of convenience (end of WotLK)
Also there are 350+ yS players and that number didnt increase due to double xp, or cross realm BGs so I dunno what to say to you. The best bet for YS imo would be for content creators to make some fun PvP videos.
